FINANCING YOUR MBA

Enrolling in an MBA program is an important commitment; as such, good financial planning is essential. Non-Hong Kong residents must apply for a student visa, which requires proof of sufficient financial resources to support your studies.

Program Fee

The program fee for the Part-time MBA (Bi-Weekly Mode) program is HK$490,000 for Intake 2025 (provisional). This covers tuition, textbooks and course materials for core courses (excluding course materials for electives), as well as certain enrichment activities. Accommodation for the alternate weekend will be at the students’ own expense. Complimentary transportation between selected border locations and HKUST Campus will be provided to Bi-Weekly program students.

Payment Schedule

Successful applicants are required to pay a non-refundable deposit of HK$65,000 (provisional, approximately US$8,300) when accepting the offer of admission, which is deducted from their outstanding fee. The remainder of the fee is normally paid in two installments.

Extended Non-means-tested Loan Scheme

Eligible Hong Kong residents have the option to apply for Extended Non-means Tested Loan (ENLS) offered by the Government's Non-means-tested Loan Scheme. For more details regarding this financial assistance opportunity, please visit the website of the Student Financial Assistance Agency (SFAA).
