
Non-Hong Kong residents will need to apply for a student visa, which requires proof that you have sufficient financial resources to support your studies.
Program Fee:
The fee is HK$600,000 (approx. US$76,930) for the 2023 intake (both 12- and 16-month options). This covers tuition, textbooks and course materials for core courses, and certain self-enrichment activities. Course materials for flexible core and electives are not included.
Payment Schedule:
A deposit of HK$50,000 (approx. US$6,400) is required when an offer of admission is accepted, which will be deducted from the outstanding program fee. The remainder of the program fee is normally paid in two installments.
Students taking part in the one-semester exchange program are required to pay tuition fees to HKUST for the credits earned at the exchange school. Travel and living expenses will vary according to the location of the exchange and are excluded from the program fee. Rental fees for off-campus shared living are indicative and subject to market fluctuation.

Scholarships:
We offer HKUST MBA Merit scholarship and professional awards to outstanding full-time MBA candidates. All candidates will be automatically considered.
For Terry Tsang MBA Admissions Scholarship and/ or Jebsen Educational Foundation MBA Scholarships, candidates need to indicate their interest during the application (application form required for Jebsen Educational Foundation MBA Scholarship).
*The HKUST MBA Community Succession Scheme is mutually exclusive with the Company Nomination Scheme (CNS) and other scholarships / professional awards offered by HKUST. Candidates awarded with more than one of them (except Terry Tsang MBA Admissions Schoalrship) can only retain one while need to forfeit the others.
HKUST MBA Community Succession Scheme:
HKUST’s alumni referral scheme attracts bright minds from diverse backgrounds. Those either with HKUST MBA or EMBA alumni acting as a referee or who are alumni of HKUST degree programs themselves will receive a tuition reduction (excluding short-term courses).

Part-time MBA (Bi-Weekly Mode): HK$513,000 for Intake 2023, which covers tuition, accommodation and cross-boarder transportation.

Part-time MBA candidates from organizations that participate in the CNS will be eligible for an allowance of HK$45,000 for the 2023/24 academic year*.
