HKUST Full-time MBA Intake 2022

Elisa Aurich (Intake 2022)

I am attracted to the HKUST MBA because of its Asian-focused community and its specializations in sustainability and tech. I chose courses that would teach me about the revolutionary technologies that were disrupting business, including Cryptocurrency, Blockchain and their Business Applications, and Transforming Business with Artificial Intelligence.

Pre-MBA: Consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG)
Piyush Agarwal (Intake 2022)

My outreach at MBA alumni in Hong Kong led me to HKUST, whose curriculum aligned seamlessly with my aspirations. My decision to pursue an MBA emerged from a convergence of factors including career transition, managerial insights, and a thirst for diverse knowledge. The Career planning and Development team guided me towards my goals and charted efficient pathways.

Piyush Agarwal (Intake 2022)
Pre-MBA: Associate at Goldman Sachs
Mia Cheng (Class of 2022)

HKUST has a broad set of courses in various industries and an overseas exchange program that gives students the opportunity to explore. Apart from the course selection, the diversity of the class was also attractive to me to build a global network. An alumnus shared during a HKUST MBA alumni event on how the network and employability of HKUST graduates could help a career switch. That's why I chose HKUST to break into the Hong Kong market. Upon my graduation, I actively engaged with and expanded my network of HKUST alumni. Consequently, I was fortunate to have referral opportunities and subsequent interviews, which greatly facilitated my successful job search and it ultimately led to my employment in Hong Kong.

Mia Cheng (Class of 2022)
Post-MBA: Family Office at Bernina Group
