Meet Matt Jones-Parry, a member of HKUST’s Full-time MBA Intake 2025. Originally from the UK, Matt comes with experience in sports sponsorship analytics and media valuation, having worked on projects involving brands like Rolex, Heineken, and the European Tour. Recently, he relocated to Hong Kong with his family, looking for a fresh start and new challenges.
After speaking with alumni, students, and faculty, Matt chose HKUST for its academic rigor and global perspective.
“I didn’t want my MBA to be just about networking. I want to come out having really upskilled myself and ready for a completely new industry,” he shares.
Now settling into the program, Matt is focused on building new capabilities and exploring different career paths. The 2025 cohort—a diverse and energetic group—has already begun forming strong connections, creating a supportive environment for learning and growth. With HKUST’s resources and guidance, Matt is excited to see where this journey will take him.
