You will complete the DiMBA program in two years and are only required to be physically present in the first and last weeks of the program.
The standard DiMBA program duration is 24 months. In case you need to take a break from the MBA program, you can apply for study leave with justifications. As long as you complete the entire program within 5 years, you will be able to graduate from HKUST.
Each year, students will participate in the mandatory MBA Immersion Program “Preparing to Lead”, a 2-credit course that takes place in person at the HKUST Clear Water Bay Campus. This program offers an immersive experience that introduces students to the MBA journey while fostering opportunities for networking and teamwork. The Immersion program requires students' reservation of their schedule in order to fully engage and participate throughout the week, including orientation sessions, classes, workshops, team collaborations, and networking activities. Accommodation will be provided by the MBA Program during the immersion period.
