The program fee of the Digital MBA for Global Leaders program is HK$465,000 for intake 2022.
Items covered by the program fee include tuition, textbooks and course materials for core courses (excluding course materials/expenses for flexible cores/electives).
Successful applicants are required to pay a non-refundable deposit of HK$50,000 (~ US$6,400), which will be deducted from their outstanding program fee. The remainder of the program fee can be paid in two installments.
Candidates who are referred by an HKUST MBA or EMBA alumnus or graduated from any HKUST degree program (excluding short-term courses).
Eligible candidates will be entitled to an application fee waiver (HK$1,000), guaranteed admissions interviews, and a tuition fee reduction of HK$30,000 for intake 2022.

Every HKUST MBA or EMBA alumnus/alumna can recommend up to 5 candidates in each admission year to join the HKUST MBA program by serving as referee for the recommended candidates. By serving as a referee, he/she needs to submit an online reference form as part of the recommended candidate’s application so that the candidate are eligible for the special arrangements of the Community Succession Scheme.
The recommended candidate must have an HKUST MBA or EMBA alumnus/alumna as his/her referee and input the referee’s contact details and passport name in the referee section of the online application. Upon receipt of the referee's contact details, an online reference form will be sent automatically to the email address provided.
After receiving the online reference form, the alumni referee should provide the following information in the form:
1. Program name (MBA or EMBA);
2. Year of graduation; and
3. Student ID for verification
It is important that the candidate indicates his/her referee as our HKUST MBA or EMBA alumni prior to clicking the "Send Reference Form" button in the application. No subsequent changes can be made once reference form requests are sent.
Before submitting the online DiMBA application, the candidate must select "Alumni Referral" as the payment method of the application fee in the application form. Otherwise, the candidate will be asked to settle the application fee by online payment.
Once the application fee payment is made, no subsequent change will be allowed. The waiver request will be reviewed and approved by our Admissions Team after verifying the alumni referee’s identity and receipt of the completed reference form.

To be eligible for this scheme, candidates who have graduated from an HKUST degree program are required to indicate HKUST as his/her undergraduate or postgraduate university in the online application form.
Prior to submitting the application, the candidate must select "Returning Alumni" as the payment method of the application fee in the application form. The waiver request will be reviewed and approved by our Admissions Team upon verifying the alumni identity.
